Gold Fork Award

The Gold Fork Award is currently the highest honor we can bestow on any Dixie-based eatery. This honor is not simply a listing of the best restaurants in the South and food quality is certainly not the only criteria here. It is rather a small and noteworthy grouping of Southern dining establishments that perhaps best exemplify what our mission is all about. These restaurants do offer fine, consistent food. But perhaps more importantly, they feature the unique atmosphere, traditions, and friendly service that most completely deliver the dining experiences we desire and fiercely seek out on a daily basis. These folks have stood the test of time and continue to carry the torch when it comes to best representing eating out in the South and the many pleasures that go along with it.
